Applicant: Hi, I'm the new applicant to be a chocobo racer.
Interviewer: Ah, yes. Do come in. Thank you for your time. Tell me... what got you interested in being one of our racers?
Applicant: Well, I worked a few odd jobs at a chocobo stable for extra money. I kind of grew close to them. I always enjoyed riding them, and they make great company.
Interviewer: You enjoy spending time with chocobos, do you?
Applicant: Well... yeah. Working as a stable hand I realized I could live my whole life around 'em and not have any regrets.
Interviewer: Really, now. And what are your favorite greens?
Applicant: Oh, nothing but the best in my farm. Sylkis greens all the time. Costs extra, but you can't put a price on the quality of life.
Interviewer: Well said! Well said! You sound like you come from a stable that understands respect and kinship. Warm stables, plenty of open space to take a rider, and proper nutrition. You seem to have an understanding for all of these things.
Applicant: Yes I do, sir. At our farm we learned to do things right, and I know that I can breed a stable of winners for the racing track.
Interviewer: And yet you want to be a PART of our racing, not just a stable owner.
Applicant: Yes, sir. I've ridden lots of different chocobos in my time. Pushed some of them really fast when they were ready, too. I think I've got a real feel for riding. And well... I just want to really get down and dirty and really push myself to the limit and win.
Interviewer: You've got such a competitive spirit! Just like Joe.
Applicant: Joe... THE Joe!? The world's most famous chocobo jockey!?
Interviewer: The very same.
Applicant: Oh, I've always admired his black chocobo, Teioh. It would be an honor to share a track with him.
Interviewer: Unfortunately, Teioh is nearly ready to retire.
Applicant: No...
Interviewer: Oh, don't worry. He has plenty of good years left in him. He'll be a stud and will be treated as a great champion. And Joe... well, I have a feeling Joe is going to find a bird that is every bit the match of Teioh. All he needs is the right upbringing, the right attitude, and the desire to be a part of the race and WIN. I think that search is ended.
Applicant: I... I'm very glad...
Interviewer: Just a couple more questions before we finish... what is your favorite breed of chocobo? Surely a gold or a black?
Applicant: No, I don't need anything that fancy. Besides... blue is more my sort of color. A chocobo that loves the water like I do. That's for me.
Interviewer: Yes... a blue. I think that suits you perfectly. Here, take these reins.
Applicant: *Takes them* Sure, but I... ... ...
Interviewer: Good. Now put them on.
Applicant: *Puts the reins on himself*
Interviewer: Now, this will only take a moment, and you can meet your stable mate. A chocobo racer such as you deserves only the best treatment.
Applicant: W-wark...
Interviewer: Don't worry, you've answered all the questions exactly right. Had you mistreated your fellow chocobos, you'd probably be set loose. But with a winning spirit and a kindness like yours... you will become legendary.
Applicant: Kweh...
Interviewer: Joe, please allow me to introduce you to your newest chocobo.

OH. MY. GOD. I am so very proud of this! Just! WOW! This is why if you get afraid to do a drawing, you should just dive in and do it anyway! I really surprised myself on this. I'm so, so, so, SO happy with how it turned out!

Oh, and chocobos, Joe, and Teioh are all copyright Square-Enix and such.
For those that don't know, in Final Fantasy 7, you could race chocobos for prizes and money. In high-class races, you would randomly run into Joe (on his chocobo, Teioh), who was always a MUCH harder opponent than everyone else. They also mention him a bit in the game. It makes for such a fun story to tell. And I think a blue suits him well!
But whats a chocobo?
